Rolling Right Along

My appointment was amazing. Any questions that I might have had are all answered, and now I am on the ball. I know that I still need to loose about 20 pounds,I have to get some blood work done as well as a EKG and a counseling session. Then I will be set to schedule a surgery date. Im so beyond excited. I'm ready to do this surgery and start my life. To start spending time with my daughter doing the things she wants to do. Parks and rides and fun stuff. Things that other mothers can do that I cant because of my size. They talked about the size of my stomach, which they showed me a little dispenser cup from the top of children's medicine bottles. It's gonna be soooooo tiny! They said that I am looking at a 100+ pounds weight loss in the first year. I can feel my "weight" being lifted. :) My next appointment is in May and I'm excited as hell. I'm going to try to loose as much of this weight as I can so it isnt going to take longer for the surgery. Healing time they said varies for each person, but that I am not a High Risk patient so that I only have to be in the hospital for two days. Not all that long considering. I thought it was going to be much worse. Keep your fingers crossed for me and wish me luck!
